Hi Neer,
Congrats on your pregnancy!!! Ragi is one thing which I am having it in my diet right from day 1 of my pregnancy. I have sesame too, which has high Calcium and Iron content in it. But it is very important that you drink alot of water (4-5 liters/day). I am following a naturopath' s instruction and I am happy I can take whatever I want to eat.
Good Luck,
Jyothi.

Hi,

AM seven months pregnant now from the Oct board.
When I had conceived i too had the same doubt about Ragi because it is very healthy and many people told me not to eat.
So first 4 months i did not eat ragi but from 5th month onwards i have ragi once or twice a week and drink butter milk alongwith it.

Dunno exactly why they stop us to eat it but i feel once in a way should be no harm.Anyway u check again.
Take care.

hi
My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
