Hi,
I have a 2 year old and is also a fussy eater, when it comes to Rotis. He loves rice. So what I do is, I make Khichdi. I take equal amounts of rice and any type of dal or sometimes I mix all types of dal, and I chop any and every type of veggie i have on hand and put lots of ghee in it, and salt and some turmeric. Mix it all and put it in the pressure cooker, when done, mix it really well and give it to him with some yogurt. He loves and and by adding the veggies he gets his veggies.
Hope it helps

U can try out for dhalia kheer or dhalia khichdi. For dhalia kheer u need to boil dhalia(in pressure cooker) with enough water and add jaggery in it. This is a good and nutrious breakfast.

For dhalia khichdi, u can boil dhalia with moong dal wiht little turmeric and cumin seeds. And then serve with salt.

U can include ragi which is rich in iron content and it is stomach filling too. I use ragi powder. I boil it in water and keep stirring it and then add jaggery and milk. My son loves to eat it.

If u have any new recipes from ur side do share with me.

RE:The Parents Guide to Healthy Snacking
So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method. In fact she even decided to supplement her diet with Immuno Boosters and Brain B... - say [View Message]
