Hetal, thank you very much for clearing my doubts.i had low blood sugar during my pregnancy. i will eat a healthy diet and i will try my best to bf.After reading your post i was surprised that you were not prescribed any prenatals or iron tablets until now and your daughter was exclusively on bf for 7.5months.

Just some clarifications.
My baby was on exclusive BF for first 2m only. After that its been mix feed, though max BF and min formula.

As i had mentioned, some family tragedy had affected my milk, and the need that i had to run errands at that time leaving baby back, i had started bottle/formula.
Second reason to start bottle at that time was me being a working person.
I had offerred bottle to my first baby at 3m which she totally refused (a baby gets opinionated by that time) .... so as a lesson learnt, i had anyway planned to start with little formula in bottle by 2m.

Also, i started semisolids at 3.5m and joined office when baby was 4. Needless to say, the food offerred to baby was referred from Hetal's suggestions.

But yes, the baby took around 1 bottlefeed per day from 2-4m (and that too not regular, i just was maintaining her habit of bottle).

Now baby accepts BF, bottle, semisolids.

Doc had suggested calcium and iron supplements, and i m continuing them even now.

What i wd like to know is what are hot flashes. what hapens when one has hot flashes ... may b some other time!
