Due Date Club December 2004:My appointment update

Yesterday I went to my doctor.Baby looks OK but doctor is not happy with my weight.She said I need to pick-up atleast 3/4 lb from week 20 and my weight gain had stopped couple of weeks ago.I am seriously thinking of meeting a dietitian.She told me to go for U/S which I am going this friday.She said she will talk about sugar test in my next visit.

Hey Naveena,

Pls don't worry. Worrying will definitely not help u to gain weight dear! You know what I feel is we are taking necessary prenatal vitamin etc in the form of tabs so we can eat whatever we feel like... not necessarily eat what has best of nutritions. So my suggestion is just eat whatever you feel like and forget about anything. If you are doing any excerise then for the time being reduce it or discontinue.

glad ur appointment went well so now sit and eat and eat and eat:-)

btw during u/s they will tell ur baby's weight and if its normal for ur ges age then I guess no need to worry about weight..

Doctor said I am not gaining weight and baby is means baby is drawing energy from me which is risky for me.So I am finding a good dietitian in my area to consult.

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
