I think adoption is a beautiful option whether you already have biological children of your own already or not.

However, I am annoyed by folks that seem to want to adopt babies for the wrong reasons.

We should adopt a child because we truly want to be a parent, we want to give this child a good life, love them, show them love and teach them how to love, give them a good education.

It should not be to do a humanitarian act, we can't save the world and adopting one child isn't going to fix the problem in over populated countries.

You should think about the child and how you will be doing for this child because you truly want to be a parent.

Another thing to consider is, if you adopt a baby from another country, you should educate yourself about the language, culture, history and so on. You should try to help this child keep some of his or her identity because as they grow up, they will want to know where they came from. It would be nice not to rob them of their backgroud, if that is possible.
