I read everywhere that the baby should be on breast atleast for 15-20 minutes. Now is the baby suckling continuosly for 20 minutes. How does one count? My 6 week old son drinks formula from a bottle continously, whereas he has never latched on to the breast for more than 5 minutes, even when I had not started formula. I actually started formula because I thought he was not drinking enuf.

my son is 13 weeks old i have,nt fed him any formula or any other cereal i breastfeed him for as long as he feels like and relax as the baby continues feedinbg and leaves the breast at his own will so dont worry

dont worry breastfeed your son as often as possible and avoid bottlefeeding breastfeeding is good for you as well as your baby there is no substiute for breast milk

i am having a son whos 26days.we have the same prob.i tried zantac and still giving him acc to ped .everything is fine if he has 3 stools and 7wetdiapers atleast in 24hrs period.so
i just feed him often whenever he cries...
so dont worry things will bcome fine soon
