Health Concerns:White discharge

Hi
I am in the 4th month of my pregnancy. I took Siddha treatment for infertility problem and even now continuing the siddha.

I have frequent white discharge these days and i have heard from many that it is normal.

But my doctor has given me a separate tablet (siddha) to stop white discharge.

Is this normal?

Also my doctor did not advice me for a scan till now. In the 5th month only she will usually allow scan for all her patients. Is this okay?

Am confused. Please someone reply.

Thanks

Hi Sudha,

First of all congratulations for your pregnancy :)
I am also in my 3rd month of pregnancy, and my doc suggests every month ultrasound. Even when the pregnancy test came +ve, she told me to go for level 1 scan.
I think everymonth ultrasound is a good way to know that everything is all right and growth of the baby is good or not.
And this helps my doctor to remove some complications and now I am fine :)
I think you should go for regular scans. This definetly helps.

Thanks.

Monthly ultrasounds when all is going well are a great way for your doc to make money. They prey on your fears. Hope she gets rich fast and retires soon and makes way for a more ethical person.
