my daugther is 21 mos and a very active kid.but the problem is that she is still on bottle.she does not know to drink from a cup .plz suggest me something by which she will be out of bottle.she does not drink milk if i dont give it in a bottle.she is not getting adequate amount of milk.plz help and she does not go to bed without the bottle. niki replied. hi
same was the pr with my son ..he would never drink without a bottle i use to sit and cry.some people told theres no problem if he drink till the age of 4ys and some use to tell its very bad for his health even doctors advice me to leave his bottle as soon as possible ..so what i did was i used the bottle, but not with the nipple, but putting a straw in the bottle the big straw with not very big hole. so that he gets a feeling as if he is drinking from bottle..first 10 to 15 days were very tough..and at last i thought he wont have but on the 16 day suddenly as usual i took him to my patio(balcony)and put the straw in his mouth and in second he had the whole milk..I WAS SHOCKED.
and then i thought kids get use to thinks very soon...he might have thought that my mom is not going to give milk in bottle so i have to drink in bottle..hehe..that was the first day he drank milk with the help of straw..give him in bottle but with straw..and sit in ur balcony where he can see people here and there and slowly one day make him drink inside the house...and dont worse him to drink with some cup or sipper.let him first come out of this bottle feeling...take care .my son is know 30 months and he drink milk in bottlh with straw..so no problem..any problem pl ask..
