Due Date Club October 2003:Belly Button

Name: Avi Hey ladies from the October board.........You are all senior to me by a month so I thought you might be able to answer my question.

Has the belly button popped out for any of guys,if so when did it happen? (which month/week).I am in my 22nd week and it looks like my belly button is going to be out anytime now. None of the ladies on my board seem to be in my predicament (the depth has reduced for some).

Any input from you soon to be mama's would be appreciated...........

My belly button started coming out in my 4th mth, so at present it is a complete outtie.I beleived everybody's belly button pops out, but after reading the other replies on this page I realised it was not so.
Anyway enjoy ur pregnancy.

i don't no that in preg ur belly button popps out. its new for me. but the depth has surely been reduced. u can hardly put ur fingures inside. i don't know wheather it will pop or not. lets wait and watch.

Hey Sweta, I do know that for some people it does pop out (you go from being an innie to an outtie)and goes back in after delivery. For others, it doesn't. Like you said, we'll know soon.

As far as my knowledge goes not everyone's belly button pops us.I am 28 weeks 3 days and mine has become plain and the depth is almost 0.I don't know if it still has chances of popping out !

Hey Nick, thanks for the info....it looks like I will know in a week or less if mine will pop out or stay flat.

aarghhhh......I hope it's not too gross........

Take CAre and dont worry about growing out of your maternity wear. It's all for a good cause and once October comes and goes you can get back to your original weight in no time and put away your maternity wear till the next time :)
