Im on my 36th week now and today is my cervical examination...

Doc says that baby has descended into the birth canal and pushing on my urinary bladder...theres slight pain on the pelvic region and i have constant urge to urinate...

Today post doc checkup I will come to know my FINAL DATE...yipee :))))....Im excited and nervous too...I know I have good wishes from all of you but please keep me in your prayers...

~Aditi selvi replied. good luck aditi. dont worry about c/s, infact i have told my doctor that if I have any sign of complication I would prefer a c/s because I dont want to compromise the safety of my child. dont worry everything would go smoothly.

My doc appt went off well...he says, since I had low AFL problem in the 7th month, Baby is a bit stressed so he recommends early delivery at 38th week and most probably a c/s so that the baby is comfortable at birth...Im not that keen on a c/s and Im mentally upset but my husband explained to me everything and Im somewhat consoled and trying to come to terms with present situation...My ultimate desire is to have a healkthy baby so for that i should be ready to accept whatever the dr. says so i am preparing myself mentally to have a c/s..
All this while I was pretty against a c/s as it takes long time to recuperate and also stitches etc are scary..
Today I took a betnisol injection for premature labour pains and duvidol for stabilising BP...i dont know whats in store for me ...

Im so glad we all share the same experience now and we are all on the same boat..

Please take care and have faith in your doctor...thats all I can say..
I'll be coming to office till 27th Feb anf from march 1st on Maternity leave..Dr. doesnt want me to stress myself after that...

Please check up with ur dr also, since you also had slight problem of low fluid earlier, even though its ok now..what he/she thinks about your delivery...Be cautious pls...its just a friendly advice no offence...

good luck to u and my prayers are for u and each and everyone on this board.Now it sounds like just yesterday i had rejoised on concieving and already i have come so close to the end.it was a tough journey all right with nausea,weakness,away from parents,fears and insecurities about whats next etc but we all have emerged victorious.so let us all pat our shoulders for the good job.The surprise that awaits us makes all that we experienced so far worth it.
so gals as the countdown begins,stay happy.Dont worry about delivery and the pains coz all that will happen naturally.
