hi rn...
u hv not replied in the massage question if ur baby is premature, or just 2.5kgs with normal time delivery (may be u r busy with newborn).

Actually, after reading abt ur baby's wt, i realised ... and was thinking abt ur breastfeeding question ..... there u hv said that u r giving bottle to baby to ensure baby is full and doctors said it is ok.

Dont know abt ur case, but just want to confirm we are not missing anything.

For some babies with less weight .. or premature babies ... who are not able to suckle or latch on as they are comparatively weaker, the docs suggest giving bottle initially till they gain strength. Once the baby comes to normal, the mother gradually takes baby to only breastfeeding and bottle can be left out.

Hope this is not the case with you.

Mothers on this board are far and can suggest only on basis of what is told to us. If you have any uncertainties in mind, your docs wd be the best to suggest.

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
