Health Concerns:Acute abdominal pain

Name: Rani Kumari

I am into 15th week of pregnancy. I am suffering from severe nausea, acute abdominal pain, fever and excessive vomitting right from the starting stage. I consulted 2-3 gynaecologist about this and they say that after some time this will be reduced and suggested rest for me. Once I was hospitalised during 11th week of pregnancy. One gyn told me that I am suffering from \" Hyperemessia Gravidarum\" . Some says I have \" gastrointestinal problems\" and some says that I have \" stomach virus\" . The abdominal pain is killing me. The ultrasound report says that baby is fine and very active. Every doctor has prescribed me medicines accordingly but my condition is getting worst day by day. I am really worried. No doctor is able to guide and cure my problems? Will this cause problems to my baby in his growth? Could you please provide me some suggestion? Please let me know if someone is also facing this kind of problems?

hi
pls consult a good gyene and get evaluated.hyperemesis gravidum occurs 1st 3 months of preg-vomiting more on morning times. you also have fever and pain abd it is unusual if that is so. chek for urinary infection which can present during preg and it should be treated. drinnk plenty of fluids for hydration. if they say it is hyperemesis gravidum i do not think you should worry more. if it infection pls get it treated as early as possible.

Thanks for the reply.

Recently, I went for a urine test. The report says it is normal and no infection is found. I am having severe pain below my naval and above the pubic bone. I consulted 3-4 Gyn but no one is able to find out the root cause of the pain. I am also suffering from fever since the last 1 week. I consulted my Gyn, she is saying that I may have typhoid but she is not sure. She has ruled out the possibility of appendicitis. I am going to have a full scan of my stomach this week. I am feeling the pain throughout a day no matter I am sleeping or sitting or walking. Please let me know if anybody has faced the same problems and they got cured.
