Due Date Club October 2005:Arav is in trouble

Arav is passing greenish stool from last 2 days, and demanding BF in every 2 hours. he is also crying more...I dont understand whats wrong with him. I am already giving him carmicide ( some what like gripe water) regularly to relieve him from gas.
Last night he couldnt sleep properly, the momemt I put him down to sleep, he wakes up and starts crying.

How can I help him, can take him to ped. but I dont want unnecessary medicine ..

DDS - normal stool. I remeber my pedia mentioning that.
About BF... i have gone through the same and some days i go now too... Very very normal.. My LC mentioned too that in 2/4th week... 2 /4th month they go through growth spruts want evry hour..

Reg stools. i think green is ok.. my doc said sometimes baby might get green stools and quite normal..

anyway try to contact ur ped and get his views...

Hi dds,

I was also facing the same situation last wk. heard from the experts and doc that it is due to growth spurt..

i was literally crying whether my baby was getting enuf milk and what bothers him not to sleep.. even during day time he was not sleeping..

the situation continues now but in diff angle.. morning he sleeps hardly for 30 mins and i need to rock rock for another 15 mins or hold him close to me.. then he sleeps for another 30 mins or an hour..

try to hold him close to u as much as possible whenever he cries.. dont worry about feeding .. he is growing a lot and his demands will be more in the coming days...

try to use ur rocking chair (if u have) and keep him close to u as much as possible..i kn it will be real tiresome at night time.. get ur hubby or support persons help to overcome the situation.

Hi!

I dont think there is anything wrong with the stool color!my baby does that and the ped told that was okey. Watch for the consistency that is more important than the color! As far as BF is concerned may be he wants more! babies have growth spurts were in they need more milk! probably thats what is happening! Dont worry !

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
