Suki...baby is latching properly only on one side other side..she does but very very rarely..that too m not sure she sucks properly or get milk...this is really troublesome..and bcoz of that i get confused too wheather getting sufficient milk production or not...but i think my milk is not sufficient enough for whole day...as anyway i have to give her 2 3 times formula for sure...pumping is real hassle...first trying BF then if she doesn't latch then...pump and if i dnt get suff milk after pump then give formula so every feed becomes a challenge for me...and by the eve i loose my patience too for trying all this....i dnt know...things will improve or not...
i didn't contact any LC yet...will try to call hospital tomorrow... suki replied. Dont worry PP.. these troubles are not forever.. i am sure u will overcome all these things in a wk...

for me, i get enuf supply in right breast and less supply in left side.. so first i try to feed him in left side so that he sucks and it might increase my supply.. in the right breast hardly he sucks for 6 mins and he is happy with that...

giving formula 2 times is good so that the baby will gain weight.. try to give in the evening time as that is the time milk supply decreases (its general) and night time so that u can get good sleep at night..

nipple shield really works good.. so dont delay .. call ur hospital or LC and get it imdly done..

if possible, try to go for one sitting with LC so that mentally u will be relieved from all these tensions..
