My mom said they give shots to pregnant ladies in India and wanted me to check with my doctor if it is the norm here also.

I don't know if we need them or not, during pregnancy we go by 'Prevention is better than Cure' isn't it? If it wouldn't harm, I guess it is good to take it.

I live in NJ, I don't know if flu is common here. But I see a lot of people around me getting it in winter.

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
