Hi,

You might be able to have your veges in the second trimester. I am not able to tolerate a few veges even now. I found that our Indian way of cooking was making it worse. So, I steam and consume with just little salt and pepper. That seems to help. Since you are able to have milk products, you can have steamed veges with melted cheese on it.

If you can't take veges at all don't worry. Can you try some fruits? Except pineapple, papaya you can eat whatever you feel like. But take your prenatal regularly.

Most of us feel that the doctors in the US don't spend enough time with us. If you have questions which come up during the weeks before your appointment note them all down in a book. Even if the doctor tries to hurry you, he/she HAS to answer those questions. Don't feel rushed and calmly ask everything. I learnt this only towards the end with my son! Otherwise, I used to come out of the doctor's office with many unanswered questions.

Hope this helps. Don't worry - it will be okay, TA
