people here would say Arin like they say Erin and it sounds kinda girlish(cause Erin is a girl's name).

I really like the meaning of the name though :(

I like the spelling of Arin better than Areen, and like the meaning too. In which language does it mean like that?

I am 50-50 on how it sounds.

Hey Vindhya, it is an indian name as far as I know(found it when a did a Indian/Rajput+baby+name search on google)..
I like Arin better too and like you I am 50-50 about having it as a first name...It might sound better as a middle name...
