hello everyone,
i wanted to know whether any one had gain more weight in one month about 6/7 poounds,then doctor suggested to eat less sugar....etc.....i apparently am vegetarian and wanted to know good daily meal that would give me the diet i need for my pregnancy( currently 21 weeks) without having too much carbs....even whole wheat bread.

I don't think gaining 6/7 pounds in a month when you are at the end of your 2nd trimster is bad. Because I have gone thru the same in the last one month. But I am on my 27th week right now. Till my 23rd week, I have gained only 9 lbs and all of sudden in the last 4 weeks I gained 6 lbs and the total is now 15 lbs. I too was worried about the same and checked the net for some information on the right weight gain rate during pregnancy. There I found that during this time of your pregnancy (26 weeks) you can be in the bottom range of 16.5 lbs. Then I felt little better. But still going to check this with my doctor this Friday in during Dr. visit.

But because your doctor has advised and you said you were 21 weeks when the doctor checked you, I would think you should take care of your diet. I don't know what I will be hearing from my doctor this week?!! I also have my sugar level test this week. I am kind of worried now. Let's wait and see, what I hear. Take care.
