check your baby diet first :

http://www.indiaparenting.com/boards/showmessage.cgi?messageid=900&table_name=dis_milestones

you can start ragi,,check this out :
http://www.indiaparenting.com/boards/showmessage.cgi?messageid=6870&table_name=dis_feeding

and i would like to reinforce what mahi said about giving bottle at midnight...if at all you are offfering bottle at midnight(which is not required, for 10month old), and secondly,,if he is sleeping,,,avoid giving it !
good luck

i m not sure if u r feeding him too much or less. If u r feeding this by baby's demand and his weight is fine then it shd b ok.

I just want to say that dont feed milk in sleep (m assuming u give a bottle). There is a risk of choking.

If ur baby wakes up middle of nights, try/check
- gas/stomach upset/indigestion/colic making baby uneasy
- give a massage/warm bath before sleep. Keep him awake for good while before sleep .. play/take out for a stroll, whatever.
-let him b little hungry and then feed him well before sleep. Thus, play.. followed by massage/bath and nice food .. he shd sleep all night.

- check out the article on indiaparenting site homepage. They hv some good points on why baby can wake up at night.

best wishes

Hi,

i red ur letter..u r feeding him too much.At this age he needs to play..its fine u introduce diff types of food but r u spending time with him or u just feel happy if he sleeps.?that is not the solution..Daily 4 to 5 time if u feed him ,that is ok..some times he needs lots of food..but u allow him to play things which makes him not only happy but also tired..so that he sleeps at nights..and let him play with any other children or elder to him so he won't cry for food..try this..but feeding him too much is not good for health...what i think

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
