Due Date Club December 2006:my update

Hi gals,

Yesterday i went to the Dr for the checkup,Dr first of all told me that the allergy is not Rubella,it's a rash which has been caused by an unknown thing, may be i've eaten or worn something or have come in contact with something which has caused the rash, it will subside on it's own.He did a scan and my li'l dolly is absol, utely fine, weighing 3.6 kgs now :))Fluid level is also fine so Dr wants to wait for 1 more week to decide anything.
Also i've changed the hospital for hygene reasons, the same Dr will be abvailable,we had a tour of the labor room, recovery room and nursery as well, over all the plus point is the staff can speak english here, where as in my prev hospital, ppl mostly conversed in Arabic, which was a big issue.
How abt u gals ?? I wish u all a smooth labor, and luv to all the babies...
good luck

Hi there

Good to know that the doc has confirmed it was not rubella. So how far along are you? I am 37wk1day today and on my last scan my baby weighed around 6 pounds.

I stay in Dubai but for my delivery I have come down to India. I was surprised to read that the hospital staff was speaking in Arabic so I thought I should ask you where do you stay. Take care...good luck. Only a matter of few days until we hold our lovely babies in our hands. :)

Hi golden,

Good to know that your rashes will go away on their own. That must be a relief. And your little one is weighing good! That gives you so much satisfaction. I wish my dr would tell me how much is my little angel weighing!

Good that you changed your hospital on time. It is really important that the nurses speak the language you understand, otherwise it really would've created problems for you.

I'm 38w 1d now. My next appoitment is on 6th Dec. So far everything is going on fine except for the back ache and sleepless nights.

So good luck, and enjoy the last days/hours of your pregnancy.

love to and your li'l dolly

hi poochy,

Tes it was a gud relief for me to meet the Dr and get to know abt the rahes. U can always ask for the baby weight in nur next scan.
Gud luck for ur next appointment, I know how annoying the bachache must be,u know infact the 1st 6 months of my pregnancy were very smooth, but these last 3 months something or the other kept cropping up with me. I am v eager to see my angel now, let's see when :)) you are also near to ur due date now, so gud luck and god bless
