C-Section:3 months bleeding after C-section

I was bleeding for 3 months after my c-section.After that it stopped for a month and had regular periods started after that.Is it normal to bleed for so long? Now, my daughter is 3 yrs old, periods are normal but,I do get pain in my pelvic area during mid-cycle.What could be the reason? Is it because,I could hardly take rest for a month after my delivery and was going thru mental stress during that period.

No, its not good to bleed for 3 months after C-section..there can be only 2 reasons for you bleeding till long.. 1)harmonal change..as some ppl takes longer for different hormonal changes..if thats the case then its okay..and 2) you have to h ave tests and ultrasounds done...as it would show that maybe during C-section the cleaning inside was not done properly..for which you have to have DNC done if thats the case..but to find out which..you better have check up done..as its not good..till you wont have a check up done, you cannot find out abt it.. Sooner done the better..dont dilly dally this for long..

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
