HI All,

i am very much confused abt my baby's schedule..pls share ur experiences..

1)two days back i was feeding her every two hrs...firts with breast bur takes only one breast..and then i if milk comes i pump or give formula around an oz....milk comes gud enough like 2 oz in the morning after feeding but latear on in the day till eve amnt decreases....Is it normal..and is it OK to give her formula too every feed...even if lil amnt as she keeps on crying if hungry...
2)..in the night two times i have to give her formula..2 oz complete diet...as otherwise she doesn't sleep and keep on crying every half hour...wat can i do to reduce formula feed or is it oK..
3)..She takes only one braest and very rare second one...as archie and veenu suggested i tried football position too..but did.t work...i try to pump but as i mentioned quty decreases..in the later day time..wat can i do to latch her on this breat.

3)///since yesterday..i m trying to put her on braest as max as possible..but then she sucks for 10n mins and goes to sleep..and dnt wake up and as i put her on bed she stars crying and then again she sucks for 5 10 mins and same...so i need to sit her for the whole day like this and even the n she is not comfortable...i know she is hungry but wat can i do to make her suck properly...atleast she is satisfied for an hr...

4) shld i consult some LC,..actually i dnt have car so dnt want to go out for visits as sometimes cab makes so much of hassles and its cold too here is thr any who can come home...

5)i cook sabzi in garlic zeera and methi and taking panjeeri too...gond ke ladoo...3 times milk and daliya..evry day...wat else i can do to increase milk supply.. Veenu replied. PP - Your diet is good... Don't worry..

As per my experience Rohan some days are just feeding day round the clock.. you must have seen my posts and every one says it is growth spruts they dothat aroung 2,4th, 6th week, 2 and 4th month.

Frankly speaking I am not against formula feeding.I don't find any wrong in that (Personal choice). too give my son 1-2 times formula as I am so so tired BF him round the clock. In that way I am ready for his next feeding with energy.

-Talk to your baby when you are BF.
- When baby goes to sleep I use wet wash clothe to clean his mouth to wake him up, burp him, change his diaper... and then offer him my second breast. If during that time if he is really hungry he will latch or then refuse...

- For Waking you can tickel her behind her neck...

MAke sure she takes the darker portion aerola along with nipple and you can hear her swallowing and baby is positioned properly.

Also keep trying giving her secong breast she doesn't like with every feed first... and after trying if she doesn't tAKE PUMP THE MILK AND GIVE HER IN NEXT FEEDING...

Don't stress as I used to do the same... It affects our supply.. Try to be happy and care free . It works wonder... I go to low time to time but then take hot shower bath which helps a lot... or try to cheer myself up, talk to friends ...
