Hi,
Good u cleared ur 3hr test. Mine came 158 in the 1hr test. Doc is not worried abt this coz its not accurate I suppose(1hr test I mean).
I am also planning to not eat sugary stuff, rice etc for this week and see what happens.
Can we have Milk, Yogurt and Cheese like bfore? Also Can I have whole wheat or whole grain breads inplace of rotis(tough to make rotis 2 times a day). Also I know we shldnt drink any juices(bottled ones). Can I drink Orange Juice if I make it by myself at home, what other fruits can we drink. How abt the Cereal in the morning. Anything I see has sugar, what to do now?
Really appreciate ur inputs

hi bargavi,
Hope u are fine there.When i went to the doctor last time she said that i have put lots of weight.She also asked me to stop drinking orange juices bought from the stores as they will add more sugar to increase its taste.So instead she asked me to take an orange fruit daily.She also asked me not to take carrot and potatoes as it has sugar in it.So just try to avoid this in your food for few days.Hopw it will help u.Take care.

I had rice,milk,bread,roti for the week.The precaution that I had taken was I drank milk without sugar (It tasted horrid but I did it.
)and did not eat any sweets.Besides I never drank any fruit juice,always preferred fruits .

I pretty much ate everything I ate before my 1 hour test ,only thing I did was stopped taking sugar and choclates .

Thanks Nick.
I always drink milk without sugar. I dont like sweets at all. I had icecream but stopped 3 weeks ago. I donno from where my sugar came, maybe from juices. Let me see what I can do.
