hi sara, there may be a lot of reasons, other than pregnancy, that might prevent your periods from coming. I had the same problem and did not get my periods for almost 5 months and all the preg tests came negative. The best thing to do is to see a OBGY and get tested for any other condition that you might have.

Dear Ritika,
In luteal phase the discharge is thick, acidic, but not necessarily sticky. Do you feel any itching or smell like fermented product say CURD, if so then you need to get treated for possible yeast infection. Otherwise also I would recommend you to see a GYN.

Subject:  anovulatory cycle

Dear Sara,
perhaps this is not something you want to hear. But a possibility of anovulatory cycle can not be ruled out. If you are yet to reach your 40s and have not experienced before then likely that you will get your period in about 2-4 weeks. If you have repeated experience then go to your Dr. and investigate the cause if you want to get pregnant in future.
