hello moms! ok to start with wud like to say i have a healthy 4yr old son already.. and am keen on having more children. I want to know if anyone has tried out ivf even though they do not really have any serious infertility problems? Is it possible to conceive twins thus? What are the dangers of doing so? has modern medicine in India advanced enough to make this procedure without too much side-effects and painless? I would like to collect as much infrmation as possible on this situation. Awaiting anxiously for replies...

In IVF, eggs are gathered from the woman' s ovaries and mixed with the man' s sperm in a dish in the laboratory. It refers to the glass container in the laboratory where fertilisation takes place - hence the term \" test tube baby\" . According to doc. sometimes it also proves risky but in a very rare case so i suggest you to once consult to your gyneo. as he/she will better tell you regrading this..
