Hi Vara,

Things are getting better now.. he is latching properly now.. but still i have some doubts.. have asked nurse to come to my place tomo to check whether things are getting better..

hope we all cross this phase soon... and share our sigh of relief soon...

My meeting with LC today was successful. She taught me how to make the baby latch properly. She says, the bottom line of aerola should match with the bottom lip of the baby. Breast should be inserted into their mouth this way. Then the nipple will not be damaged. I could do it today.

For this, if u r feeding on the left side, hold the breast with left hand and baby's head with the right hand and then try putting the aerola (bottom line) into the baby's mouth.

I am very happy today that I could do it without b.sheild. I need to practice it till she learns.

How about u ? any improvement ?goodluck

I was blessed with a daughter 3 years back n I m really thankful to God for that.It was a c-sec delivery n I was alone with my baby as my husband was posted in field location.n I was clueless about bathing riutals. so I never applied UBTAN on her but now I realized she has too much hair on her legs, back n hands n on face too.

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
