first of all congratulations on ur pregnancy
when is ur due date. do u live in usa. its really surprising that ur dr. saw u. mine will not see me untill i am in my 8th week. its good that u r taking prenatal vin=t. its very neccesary to take it in early stage. i am taking right now over the counter prenatal vit. coz i haven't visited my dr yet and she did'nt prescribed one either.
as far as pregnancy test is concerned i did Hpt . but i will do another one once i will visit my dr. i would ask them to perform blood test and confirm my pregnancy. i think u should also do that.

do let me know how ur dr. visit went. wht questions do we have to keep in mind

I am in USA .My Gyn. asked me to have couselling session and paperwork at next visit after 2 weeks.She will do the full check up and ultra sound too.
Right now she asked me to have vitamins which she prescribed.
