I read that babys clothes should be washed in special detergent, Dreft. Is it required? I was planning to wash all the clothes that i bought for the baby during these weeks.

Please do share ur thoughts

Tina,

I heard Dreft is safer to use on baby clothes as to a limit it will protect the baby from getting rashes. I also heard that using fragrance & dye free detergents like Tide and Cheers are also good.

How about drying? Is it safe to put baby laundry in a dryer even if we use a fabric softner? will they shrink bcos of the heat?

i read that for washing cloth diapers , we need to avoid using the fabric softner.
