Hi All,

I am 7 weeks pregnant, and had been diagnosed of having PCOS and hypothyroidism (borderline case). I wanted to know if someone has had a similar condition, and gone on to having a healthy baby. Touch wood until now everything is going normal, except for having low progesterone levels. hence my doc has put me on progesterone supplements (Naturogest). I also take thyrox 25 each day, to control the thyroid. Are these medicines safe. Please share your experiences.

Hi Pooja,

Dont Worry about Thyroid problem, i am also having Hypothyroid and taking Thyronorm 150Mg daily.i am in touch with one of the endoconologists(thyroid specialist) for the same and my thyroid levels are being checked every month. right now i am in 36th week of my pregnanacy and my baby is healthy and growing well. you should be in touch with endoconologist who can guide you well for thyroid levels

Rest you need not worry if thyroid levels are controlled baby will be healthy anf fine.this medicine has no harm on baby instead it helps in fetal memory and hormone development.

i hope this may have cleared your confusion for thyroid.

in case any more help is required you can contact me.

Have a healthy and safe prgnancy.

Love
Purnima
