Hi,
My husband and I have been married for the last 2.5 years. We have been trying for a baby for that time with no success. We thought of adopting a baby from India. Currently we are residing in India and I am on visa while my husband is a US Citizen. I know that there are a lot of rules for NRIs for adopting kids including minimum five years of marriage, but since I am already 35 years old, I cannot wait anylonger. So we were considering moving to India and stay there for the next 2-4 years. Will that help in speeding up the adoption process?
