Sleeping:8 month old not sleeping through the night

Hi,
My 8 month old baby used to sleep through the night since she was 3 months old. We started giving solids at 6 months and within a few weeks she was taking 4 meals a day which included fruits, cereal and veggies. Around 6.5 months, she started waking up during the night. She sleeps through the night if she is in her swing but not in the crib. She sometimes takes formula, but otherwise goes to sleep, but I have to rock her or take her to bed with me.
Her dinner time is around 8.30 - 9 and she turns in for the night around 10.30. She takes in 24-30 oz formula during the day in addition to solids.
Please advise on how to make my baby stay asleep throgh the night.
Thanks

angeli replied. Hi
My 8 mth old baby is waking up middle of the night since last 2 weeks. She sleeps only after continuous and long-lasting rolling in our bed.
I have pulled her crib close to my side of the bed such that it is easier for me to pick her and put her back to crib. I thought it is due to teething but seems that teething is not the problem. It is becoming extremely difficult to cope with sleepless nights, work and home caring.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Take care

Hetal replied. your baby is going thru sep anxty,..attach the crib to your bed,,and first day make her sleep with you,,the next day, make her sleep with you but with some distance,,and then slowly increase the distance..watever you wear in the evening,,,make her sleep on that clothes..most babies have slept well, with moms clothes ! reason is mothers smell and it gives her that comfort that mom is around.
hope this helps,,check on the bedding of your baby,,sometimes that helps,,try to put a good firm bed cover and see if that makes her sleep better,,
her diet and intake is good,,she just needs your presence...
Minnu K replied. Hi,
Last night, we brought our baby to bed with us when she woke up after 1 hour in the crib. She slept from 10:30 till 6:30 with us ! I guess she does not like to sleep in the crib alone.
I want to try and make her sleep in the crib. The crib in the same room as us.
Please advise!!

My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
