we r trying for the baby since last 2 1/2 years.
We both of them have no problems,Doctor says ur case fall into Unexplained Infertility.
In US, we have undergone 2 iui cycles with failed attempt.
Next Month, We r planning to go to india for vacation.My husband will be in india for only 3 weeks.For me, no problem of staying long time.In india,we r planning to go for either IUI or IVF.
I don' t know how it works?
Could anyone plz guide me how it works?
Could u guys send me the Best Fertility center either in chennai or coimbatore?
Before going to india for treatment, what r the thing i have to do?Like Consulating india doctor over phone,Sending previous report details by email ,Take appointment like that, Plz guide me....
And one question. My husband stays over there for 3 weeks. Is it possible to freeze the semen for the treatment?Is there any demerits of using frozen semen for the treatment?...

I dunno whats gonna happen to all our future generations if infertility is growing at this rate. My gynae is also a fertility consultant and she was our family dr for the past 20 yrs. I took my cousin recently to her and she mentioned that nearly 1 out of 5 couples are facing this issue. She is such a nice girl and i feel very sad when i see her struggling to conceive.

I underwent 10 cycles of folicullar study,1 time X-Ray, 1 time sonosaplhinography, 1 time HSG, 1 time IUI also took many cycles of HCG injections and at last the doctors said everything is perfect for me. And my husband sperm count was above 100 million with good motility from begining of my treatment.
We met many best doctors in chennai but no one helped us. Then we came to know Dr. Kannagi will visit chennai every month so we got appointment to see her in Chennai. She went through our whole process of treatment from the beginning and with out performing any test or scan she said this may be due to PCOD and she gave only 1 tablet and said me to reduce upto 10 kgs of weight as i was 69 kgs. Take your time, talk to the doctors when you are there. Do not fall for the promise of high success rates. Look at all the variables and fundamentals.

Look for centers with their own permanent full time qualified embryologists on-site that can perform all the required laboratory work. Ensure that there is sufficient and qualified medical staff that can handle any emergencies. Ask to meet and talk with both the doctors and embryologists so you are comfortable with them. Get to know them before you commit any money to the treatment.

Also, if someone says you need to have an IVF without going through the basics and working through other options, then sit back and think it through.You should be screened, tested and counseled before any talks of procedures or surgery.

Most good institutions would be able to give you a decent idea on what you are looking at if you send your reports down to them before hand.

Sperm freezing can be done. There is however the chance of deterioration of the sperm when thawed.

If you take care to go through the points I have mentioned above, you should be able to find a good institution to provide for your needs.

First take it cool, it is just 2 1/2 yrs of marriage, i feel both of you are taking the stress more. When the reports say tht u r fine i feel u shd take the vacation a chance of honeymoon and enjoy your stay, when you are cool things will automatically fall in place, this is from my experience.

If you want to see a doctoe select either chennai or cbe where u will be comfortable, preferably your mother' s place. I have seen Dr.Kannagi of KMCH, coimbatore, she is very kind and extremely good. You can try to visit her also.

Any dr. u visit scan all your reports to any of your realtive and ask them to meet the doctor and talk with the dr abt your case history and u can also talk with the dr and then when you go u will feel comfortable.

Anyway take care and beleive me take the holidays as a blessing and don' t worry too much abt the treatment tht will only put additional tension and irritate your holidays. Take it from me who has had 2 miscarriages, 6 iui' s and finally conceived naturally after 10 yrs of marriage..

I do not have much idea abt the palani centre but i know it is the oldest one among the 3 centres around 12 years old.So definately all facalities will be there .As for the cost for 1 cycle i had to spend around 2 lakh .IUI i do not know as my was direct IVF-ICSI only .I told u before only that definately it is costly here but care is there .Plus personally i find Dr. Chandraleka compassionate & understanding .Plus all her staff is also very helping .The only problem is the waiting time .2 much patients there so 2 much waiting time .But in the end if i got what i wanted then i do not mind waiting time + the money spend .
I suggest u personally go & meet her if u find her & the centre ok can go ahead .
C karthi one thing i wld like to suggest u see 3-4 good centres before settling for the final one .And for the final centre u & ur spouse decide together .People may say many things good or bad abt evry centre but u decide on ur own judjement & do not be guided by anyone .Bcoz it is u who has to spend the money & undergo treatment not anyone else .

I belong to TamilNadu, right now in Oregon USA.We have personal experience with Dr.Geetha Haripriya, infertility doctor in chennai(at chetpet).She have very good success rate (around 60).does IVF & IUI at nominal cost.If you need more info on this doctor, u can messgae thru this blog
