I am sorry to hear about your daughter's injury. I'm sure you are worried.

Well, since she is so young, so small and has \";baby\"; skin, it's very likely those scars will fade over time and in a year from now, you will not even notice it...then, years from now, only you will know what happened to her eyebrows.

Her eyebrows will grow back to \";normal\";...just give it some time. There is no need for plastic surgery or anything; children heal better than adults as long as they are healthy.

Include lots of Vitamin C in her diet and that encourages healthy skin also...

There are creams that contain cocoa butter that have been very useful in helping reduce the sights of scars. Some people swear by it, others have said it did little for them.

But, I can speak first hand. I was 5 years old when I fell on a marble floor and gashed my chin, and cut my lip and broke a bottom tooth. My Mom too was devastated.

It didn't take very long before I healed and the scar was not visible. I'm an adult now and remember the incident as if it happened yesterday; I almost remember the pain...

however, my Mom rubbed my chin (after the stitches were removed) with cocoa butter and I do believe it helped.

Take care,
Nina
