Hi girls,

Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying their pregnancies.

I am good as well...nausea is getting better...last couple of weeks were really bad..I didn' t feel good at all ..had to keep eating every hour or so so as not to feel sick even though I was not hungry...but now it is much better..I rememer with my last pregnancy, it started when I was 2.5 months pregnanant, so lets see this time :-)

I had my 8 week appt with my doctor yesterday..he did the culture and did some checking and says everything looks normal...lot of blood work was done as well...since I am leaving for India early Feb.. I will not be here for 12 week scan..I asked the doctor if it can be done a little early..but he suggested it can only be done during a particular duration..between 11 and half and 13 and half weeks..so I would be getting that done in India..

But before leaving..I have an untrasound appt scheduled with the doc at 10 and half weeks to make sure that the baby is good.

Neeti Vini replied. Hey Neeti and all other lovely ladies here... I had my 1st prenatal appt on 8th Jan...I was 8 weeks then...Now am almost at the end of the 9th week...Feels good to be nearing the end of the first trimester...Congrats to you Neeti, good to know all is normal with you...
My first appt went well...My blood work was all good...Progesterone was perfect at 34.9 or so and HCG has been good so far...They did an ultrasound to see if the bab yis doing good coz I have had 2 m/c before...The doc just wanted to make sure everything is going good...The baby was fine and we saw and also heard the heartbeat...Me and DH were so happy...Now am scheduled for the BUN test(1st trimester screening) on 11th Feb...Hope all goes good there too...

firstly, congrats on ur pregnancy..
im in my 10th week. uptill now my doctor has done 3 ultrasounds. one at 6th week, other at 8th n today had one at 10th week. What a sight to see the little one on screen..!! Last time got the blood test done for rubella, HIV, Hepititus-B etc. Even though my progesterone levels are normal still im asked to take progesterone supp. till my 12th week. Just as a extra precaution..
luckily i had no nausea till now. but i have lost my appetite. Not gained any weight:-(
well,now im just waiting for my 12th week scan to get over..
