glad to hear that u are from kerala.
As others wrote, don't force urself to take food.Firstly you just started second trimester.I agree with others, gradually you'll start having good appetite. At ur time of gestation I too was eating whatever I feel like, because of M/S.
Yeah,we won't get everything here,as in india,I too feel craving for cheera items, jackfruit(raw) like that.

In 15 weeks, baby won't demand so many calories from you. You'll feel hungry as you get on to your 5th - 6th month. I'm at the end of 5th month, one week I feel normal hunger, one week I don't feel hungry. I just eat how much ever I feel hungry. Don't force yourself, just try to eat healthy food. Body will take care of its growing calorie demands.

Best Wishes,
CK

Hi priya,

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and here goes my food schedule.

breakfast
some south indian bf idli/dosa/upma/bread
11.00am
1 cup milk+one fruit
lunch
1 cup rice(i like brown rice more than white and it's nutritious too)+1 vegetable curry+some raw veg like carrot,lettuce,tomato/broccoli
after lunch ,1 fruit
teatime
cooked beans,3/4 cup like chickpeas,black beans,moong..with tea
(I'll just season and add little lemon juice and I love that taste)
Dinner
2 chapathi's+1 veg curry+1 fruit
1cup milk and vitamin suppliment at bedtime
water ,whenever I feel like.
Eventhough I'm nonveg, nowadays I don't feel like having it that much.anyway include meat 1 day,egg 2 days /weekand fish once in two weeks.
Eventhough I shared my diet I too don't know whether I'm eating healthly.
I too want to know others opinion about my diet.
What I would suggest you is buy some good pregnancy book like 'what to expect when you are expecting' or browse online to find out a good preg diet.Based on that ,plan a diet according to ur likes and tastes, sametime trying to include all food groups and write it down(do you have a preg diary?I keep one).Try to stick to that plan.
From my experience I must say ,planning is easy but sticking to it is rather difficult.
