Hi everyone,

I am in my 40th week of pregnancy. Since last nite i am feeling that my baby;s movements have decreased . When ever i have asked about this to my doc , she always says it's NOT the number of movements u feel that imp.As lon as you feel some movements it's fine .

But , on this site i have read that one shud feel atleast 10 moevements in 2 hrs. well from lats nite i am not feeling moevements as frequently as before . I am a lot wrorried . Is everything all right ? Are any one of you going thru the same thing . Pls let me know

I am due on 21st sep . Is it normal to have decreased fetal movements in the last week of gestation . Pls answer this query . i am a lot tensed .

Thanks for ur reply .It was a relief to read it . The veery next day , i started feeling more moevements . Guess at times the baby just wants to be inactive :-)

So i am releived now .We both are due next week? How are you feeling these days . what did the doc say ? Have u dilated ? Let me know . My cervix is still closed, but it;s ripening.This was the status on 13th sep.

hi am due on 23, my doc says since its 9th month we are not appreciating the movememnts due to lack of space.
anyways shes told me to count 10 movements thru the day.
however its mother who knows best and if u have any inkling dont hesitate to call doc.
do try before to drink something chilled and sweet and lie on ur sides to feel ur lil one moving.
its really our instints at this time
