Hi,

Actually I use to face the same problem of bloating before I was preganant esp when my periods use to be near, this is only due to harmnal changes your body is going through , after being pregnant, again i faced the samething and asked my doc abt the same , she said don' t have much of carbohydrates(esp potatoes etc) in night mostly try and have them in a day time, also go for regular walks in evening which will help you.

I am currently in US but my SIL is in India & in India they normally do the u/s one in first trimester & then directly in third trimester .Also all the blood test for Aid, thalasemmia & all are done, apart from that you will not find much of checking in second trimester you wll directly have rgular visits in third trimester. Again this might vary frm doc to doc .

Have a healthy preganancy !!!

my gynaec during my first preg was very very nice she was a lady in her 60' s. i learnt a lot form her. unfortunately i cant go there this time nor i delivered my first baby with her coz i did my first delivery at my mil' s place only. location wise its not possible to visit her. so whatever she taught me i can tell u. she was strictly against any medicine during preganancy not even for nausea. cold cough she taught me how to be careful so that u dont fall sick. i had done my sonography only twice in 9 motnhs first in initial stages just to find out if the baby is growing normally then in 9 months. but one of my sil she too goes to very famous gynace of her locality she did sonography on her alost every month n in between she had problem so she did her sonography every week around 6 or 7months we have to go thru blood tests that is compulsory ..aids test ..soem australian desease or something i cant recollect ..blood sugar test ..few more things they check but these three tests are compulsory without the report they wont register your name in hospital in any hospital, another thing they gv tetenus injections in last 3months
about your prob i would say its a part of pregnancy dont take tensio and it will reduce once you complete 3 motnhs..
