b)What are the approx costs involved ?
c)Which brands have you found suitable to buy for baby and for which products ?

Very big and critical question. I think it is difficult to come out with all answers but will give it a try :)

a) I bought clothes from baby's'rus and another place called \";gymbore\";. This is only for 0 to 2 years baby clothes. I am not sure if it is a chain store. In our place, it is inside a mall. I also bought few sleepers from SEARS as there was a sale and the cloth material was also good. I also keep checking Wall mart as it always give stuff at low price. I think I bought receiving blankets and crib blankets from Wallmart. I also bought baby care products like (shampoo, massage oil, baby brush, baby nail clippers etc). They sell them together as a package in wallmart. Socs, mittins and head caps I got it from baby's'rus. Wall mart also has good collection but could not get matching stuff.

b) Sleepers - maximum $10 per each
T-shirts (body suits) with buttons below - max $7. They come from $4 to $5
Receiving blankets - 4 of them were in set and they were around $15 to $20
Blankets - $12 to $18 each.
mittins, socs, head caps - they come in pack of 3 or 6. Max $8 for socs, $4 for mittins and $ 5 for caps.
Shampoo massage oil set - got for $ 14
Medical kit (thermometer, nasal aspirator) shouldnot cost more than $10
Bath tub - $12 (from wallmart). It was a nice deal. Baby can sit in the tub upto two years and enjoy bath

Havenot bought below ones but saw the prices.

Infant Car seat $40 - $50
Stroller - you have different variety. depends on what you like. You have strollers from $75 - 250. There are Less than $50 also but they will not be good for new born
bassinet - around $75 - $100
Swing - $100
Crib - seems costly. Again you get it for $100 also for $300. I am not going for it.

These are all approximate costs and based on the stuff what I bought. You might see more price or less price.

C) Coming to brands,

Car seats & stroller - Graco
Swings & Bouncers - Evenflo or Graco
Blankets, socs, mittins - Gerber
Bathtub - anything which you like is fine
Shampoo and massage oil - other care products - Johnson & Johnson
Toys - Fisherprice
Diapers - Huggies or Pampers
