Due Date Club April 2004:Amniotic Fluid leakage????? Please respond....

I'm in my 31st week. From yesterday, I feel some wetness in my panties and I'm not sure if it's amniotic fluid leakage.. or something else...I'm very much worried about this. Is it normal to have some water fluid discharge in 3rd trimister? I haven't called my doctor yet... but I'm dying ..... :( .. I usually do have some white discharge, but this one looks different.....
My baby is kicking as usual. My due date is April 15th.
What should I do??????? I'm dying to hear from you.... please respond...

Hi Tina and Sumi,
thanks for your responses.. I called my doctor day before yesterday and nurse said nothing to worry. they advised to take some rest. Luckily I feel normal now. Thank God.

Hi Sree,
Although urine leakage happens in third trimester but I'll strongly suggest u not to ignore such things. Wait for 1-2 days, if it persists, then go for ultrasound. Actually, I have already suffered a lot because of this last time. So this time, when it started happening, I went to see my doctor immediately. She checked up, took the sample and told me that this is not amniotic fluid. Even then, I went for u/s next day.....why take risk?? Please DO NOT IGNORE SUCH THINGS.....

Sree,
During the last weeks ie after 30 weeks, there will be more white discharge. If it doenst look like white discharge , then I think you call your doctor soon. May be its just urine leakage. Dont worry much, I suggest you call your doctor and fix an appt.
