Hi, You have a nice group here. Please advice me if you too are having the same problem. My EDD is May 11th and I am experiencing some wetness from my left boob these days. In night sometime my shirts get wet also. Is this normal?

Hi Aami,

Nothing to worry. This is absolutely normal.Your body is now preparing itself for the process of breastfeeding the baby on his/her arrival. The leakage that you are experiencing is a liquid called colostrum which will be the first diet of the baby.
I too experienced this some weeks ago and checked with my doc. Its nothing to worry about at all.

hi there,i am nisha from india.i am in my 30 th week,i was supposed to write about this but then just forgot.this generally happens in most of the pregnancies,if not all,i too am experiencing this,it is called colostrum which is a clear ,colourless fluid which is the food for the baby for the first few days as milk does not start immediately,it contains a lot of proteins and disease fighting bodies,which is necessary for the baby,so its just normal;anyways where are u from?take care and keep mailing
