you get everything in US - but i would say get home made medicine / herbal for kid

if kid has gas trouble or small cold problem we can solve inside home and not to worry to go out and take appointment for the doctor.

blanket, garlic and other dettole bottle and all u get in US Indian stores

Do not ask ur parents to get any laddu with lots of ghee in it. IT might have 5% good quality but 95 % is fat which u do not need

my doctor in india also told me not to eat any shira or laddu which contains hell of greece to be in shap and healthy

The following were the things I got from India

dettol 1 bottle

mittens and socks few of them

lots of garlic

stiched small cotton type thick
bedsheets for the baby - about 8 of them - instead of changing crib covers during accidents ..you can change these

duck back rubber sheet

small vinyl sheets for changing diapers

thick rajai type blanket for the baby since mine was a winter baby

a cap with a thread below to tie , since most caps here , slide out of the head .

I got cotton diapers - but was of not much use because of the winter here . Disposable diapers are best during winters

My parents got gond ka laddoo , which is supposed to be eaten after birth as per certain Indian traditions . I believe it has some medicinal value and it never harmed or the baby.

These were my list, but I'm sure you can buy several other things to help things go easy for you.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
