Hey guys, I am from the Nov Board and wanted to tell you that I love your group. I can feel the closeness you guys share with each other from all the messeges I read on your board. So, Good job.

I have a question for you guys, since you are a month more into the pregnancy than myself......For the past two weeks I have been feeling something and I wanted to make sure that what I am feeling are my baby's kicks.

I put my hand on my stomach and I feel something nudge me from the inside. It feels like a little tap sometimes and sometimes it's a more than little tap (a hard tap). It used to happen only when I lie down but now it happens even when I sit at work or school. I feel it even when I dont have my hand on my stomach since it's coming from the inside. ( bear with me, cause the feeling is kinda hard to explain in words :) )

Does this sound familiar to any of u.......if so, is it a kick, a hiccup, or something else????

Welcome aboard.
Yes they are baby kicks. Soon u can see that ur tummy goes up and down a bit. Also by now ur hubby also can put his hand in that kicking spot and feel.
I donno how to differentiate between kicks and hiccup, but its kicks I guess

Hi Avi,
Yes they are baby's movements. They feel like butterfly flutters initially and then slowly they get stronger. I started feeling these flutters between 18-20 weeks. Now I get good kicks.. Its a nice experience.
