If you have an insuarance, go through it and find suitable OB/GYN who can follow up your pregnancy.

It's important that you begin taking care ASAP.

If possible try to take some Folic Acid rich diet or directly Folic Acid and some Iron would be of good help.

Dear rrr,
you may want to bring a point to your Drs. attention that you want to take Folic Acid. He/she will permit. It should be okay if you eat Folic Acid that's available OTC, to be on safer side confirm from your Dr.

Dr. in first visit will withdraw your blood to confimr pregnancy to know amounts of hCG.

In first follow up visit you may be offered transvaginal ultrasound to see sac and fetus. It's the time you may hear baby's heart beat for first time while u/s.

When you choose Dr. you indirectly have choosen hospital as well. Drs. have affiliation, check what hospital your Dr. is affiliated to.

Feeling morning sickness at this stage is OK and perfectly normal. It's not early or late.

You are more than 4 weeks. If cycles are 28 days then the day you know you are pregnant, is already you completed 4 weeks.

Hi Archie,
I had called up the OB/GYN yesterday and I have got the appointment for june 1st.Is it ok that during this period I can start taking Folic acid on my own without consulting the doc?
I have Nature Made's folic acid tablets(400mcg).
And I also have one more question.I must be roughly in the 3rd / 4th week of pregnancy and I already have all the symptoms of morning sickness.....I feel nauseous thr'out the day.....isn't it too early for these symptoms to be popping up.In fact sometimes I feel that I am only imagining things happening to me!!!
What happens after the appointment with the doc.....I mean who makes the decision abt where and in which hospital to deliver the baby?
Sorry to bother u with so many questions but at this stage I cannot ask anybody else so I am troubling u....
