Sleeping:Sleeping irregular

Hi,

I have almost 10 months old boy. He never slept in a pattern during the daytime since birth. He took cat naps whenever he felt like it. He was sleeping good until he turned six months at night (from 8:00 pm to almost 8:00 am). Because of travelling/moving and stuff, his schedule got changed. Now he does not sleep till 11:00pm sometimes (sleeps anywhere between 9:30pm to 11:00 pm) and still wakes up by 7:30 - 8:00 am. He still does not take good nap/naps during the day. Besides all these less sleep, he is quite energetic when he is up and playing.

I am not worried about his less sleep as that's all he needs it seems. I just want him to sleep in patterns or take one/two naps. I tried to keep him up during the day so that he will sleep early but if he is sleepy, he goes to sleep anywhere and in any way. I have my parents for now to look after him but I am concerned about the time he will start going to day care when he turns one.

Does anyone have the similar experience and can give me some tips to change his sleeping patterns.

Thanks.
Viraj

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
