Hi Everyone,

I had my 38 week appt yesterday. The doc said everything looked just fine . The height of the fundus, baby's weight/heartbeat was just right too.

She said that the baby has moved in the pelvis. Does this mean that i am close to my delivery ?. My DD is sep 21st . Also, she told us that she wud be doing an internal examination in my next appt, which is next week.

How much weight will the baby gain per week henceforth?

These days i have to go to the restroom almost every hour. It's getting difficult to sleep at nite too.

At times , i have tremendous pain in my upper abdominal . It last for only 5-10 seconds . Are anyone of u experiencing the same thing ?. My doc said , its due to accidity . Can it be due to the baby kicking in the upward direction too? pls answer

rest everything is fine . we are almost done with our shopping.

Dear Archana,
You are likely to deliver baby in 14 days.
If the baby is in pelvis it can stay there for about 2-4 weeks for first time mothers. It confirms from your rest-room trips which have become frequent.

Acidity is due to many reasons, if the baby is in pelvis then less likely acidity is due to his/her kicks upward. Try to restrict the amount of spice you eat, or do not eat fast. Eat slow and small meals with regular interval. Take time to drink quantity of water.
