This isn't really a preg. health related question but just out of curiosity what happens at the in-laws baby shower among maharashtrians.

hey congrats on ur pregnancy
not much happens at the in-laws place....surprisingly....hoever there is a wadi where the to be mom is decorated in flowers....and blessed by everyone....each house has diff on what to give but generally haldi/sindoor is put and blessings r given.
there is also a game to guess gender of kid...so in 2 sweets(say like modak) laddo and burfi os kept.....or in kheer coin/ring is put....
boy=laddo/coin
girl=burfi/ring
hey its true in my case
so what r u planning
