Hello Archie hope you and your family are doing well.
I had my check up on Oct 4, 2006 and I am 38 weeks today. The Doc did an internal check and said that I had not begun to efface yet. Also, though I have always been carrying low, she said that the head of the baby is still high. When she tried to locate the heart beat she did locate it but said that the baby is in posterior position, baby back facing my back. I am also a case of GD and she has now put me on a diet. My sugar stays with the rane one week and the other it is not...so there is no consistency in that sense.
She has suggested a doppler next week and seems to be more inclined to do a c-sec.
I needed to know whether the analysis is alrite? I mean she said, not likely that a posterior baby can be delivered vaginally. Though she examined the pelvis and said that my pelvis was fine and compatible.
Little disheartening to hear on a c-sec after all the kegel and perinium massage. Is there anything I can do to change the situation?
Also, how is breast feeding affected after a c-sec/
Thanks a lot Archie...a little stressed out now.
