Name: Koel Chakrabarty I am a single woman in my late thirties, well established in my corporate career. I am exploring options for becoming a mother, either by adoption or through IVF.

I am interested to know other women in this forum who have decided to go on similar path. I would like to interact individually and understand the social challenges and how to overcome them.

IVF is a high tech process and it has been found that babies born through IVF are at greater risk of rare combination of birth defects. As the process is done in laboratory, error is bound to happen. Hi koel, since you are in late thirties try for like minded people who can understand and able to accept you as you are. IVF and adoption would be a tedious task for u. Think properly and visit a doctor asap.

The choice is yours. IVF is quite costly but that feeling of having our own blood and DNA is lot better than raising an unknown. I am not condemning adoption but I feel IVF though costly is better option.
