Hi, I too have PCOS and am 7 weeks. I also have low progesterone levels. I am taking Naturogest orally. It makes me feel extremely giddy. But I have heard it helps to sustain the pregnancy. I am vert paranoid about miscarraige, its good to get reassurance on this site.

Hi Neha,
Its safe to have progesterone during pregnancy as it helps retain a pregnancy and also increases the chances of conception.
Progesterone also helps control bleeding in pregnancy thereby reducing the chances of miscarriage It did help me in my pregnancy. All the best for yours!!!

Hi Neha,
My Doc stopped the projesteron support after I finished three months of prgnancy without any issue or trouble.
He put me on that hormone as I have PCOS (poly-systic-ovarian syndrome) Now I am taking folic acid+calcium+iron, but no hormone.
Take care.

Dear Neha,
Do not take any tension because of PCOS. It is very common now-a-days. I personally know amny women who have PCOS but are moms of healthy and cute babies. So keep your attitude very positive. You are not alone. In case of PCOS, proper doctor is very important. I am taking treatment from an infertility expert who deals with PCOS patients very very often.
Wish you all the best.

Hi,
Better you talk to your doctor in details. If you feel, you can go for the second opinion, but that too from a doctor only. I was given progesteron in the form of injections and tablets only after my pregnancy was confirmed.
So follow your Doc's advice.
Wish you all the best !

hello editor,
hypertension is high blood pressure, normal blood pressure level is 140/90 but if blood pressure is more than that then its not good for pregnancy, so try to keep your blood pressure under control.... - bhavika [View Message]
