Hello to all women 🤗 This is first time I am posting in this group ... need your help and suggestions
I completed 2 yrs of my marriage this dec ,2017 and also expecting a baby now(5months pregnant)... now the problem is my mother in law
She is demanding huge gifts like clothes for whole family and a gold set for herself from my parents ,apart from some gifts for me , my husband, and new born .....on the occasion of the baby boy birth by me. Now it's not like she has not been given anything before ... at the time of marriage too she created a lot of fuss ... and demanded more gram of gold just for herself ... and all my gold is kept with her in her locker..
And I want to stop this now ... but this has created a lot of tension between me n my husband, we had a huge fight.... he is not ready to listen a word against his mother nor stopping her from doing so...and said he didn't started this n but also won't hear anything for his mother n get involved in this issue... I am really stressed and it's affecting my health and my baby too...
I live abroad with my husband n she would come to visit us for 4 months then we would go with them to India for a function ... she bluntly sated that this is the last chance for her to get gifts and further only I will be getting it from my mother ,,,,,, but now I know her she needs clothes , small gifts on all major festivals around the year in future also ... my parents and in laws live in the same city ,,,
How , by what means I should stop her .....???
Can I get some helpful suggestion to tackle this situation wisely from you all ... plz
